Participants will have the opportunity to learn this Paralympic Sport and participate in weekly team practices with The Miami Vice Wheelchair Rugby team. This sport is ideal for a variety of disabilities including quadriplegia, quadruple amputations, and other disabilities involving loss of arm and trunk function. All participants must play from a sitting position and must be able to push their own chair.
*Program participants must be able to follow multi-step commands and if toileting assistance is required, they must provide their own personal care attendant. Transfer assistance to wheelchairs can be provided if needed. Cost: $40 per Season Session (Fall & Spring)
