Adaptive Fishing Rod Holders

Description: Adaptive fishing equipment is designed to help people who have arm and hand strength problems enjoy the sport of fishing. While fishing is considered a leisure activity, you must have the strength to grasp a fishing rod in order to play and ultimately land the prize. People with strength and mobility issues need assistance to enjoy the excitement of fishing. Adaptive fishing rod holders are the solution. The Barracuda and Side Winder are two new adaptive fishing rod holders that can provide everything needed for the rigors of disabled fishing. They both were designed by a disabled American veteran who lost the use of his right arm in combat. He loved to fish and couldn’t find a system to fit his needs. The requirements for a rod holder were: comfortable to ware, easy to use, stronger than the fish, and give him the excitement of playing a fish. Both of these adaptive rod holders were engineered to provide the angler with stability and support, comfort, (you can actually wear them all day fishing without discomfort), strength, made from aircraft grade aluminum, stainless steel, and polyurethane webbing with 500 to 700 pound rating.
